Tom Wherrett Group

We started this band to explore the music we love.

These four in demand Vancouver based musicians came together in the spring of 2019 to play songs we loved by our favourite composers. The resulting chemistry was undeniable.

After several more playing opportunities we began to incorporate more and more original material, and we now focus solely on compositions written for the band by Tom. The music explores rubato vs time and composition vs improvisation, while showcasing this group’s dynamic interplay.

We love to play music. Each of our unique voices comes together to make the music come alive. The feeling is palpable and not to be missed.
